The big cause of high blood pressure is too much salt intake.
When the concentration of salt in the blood becomes high, water goes into the blood vessels from the cells around to make the concentration thinner. That makes the amount of blood increase, pressing the wall of the blood vessel. This is the condition of high blood pressure. High blood pressure causes arteriosclerosis that the blood vessel becomes hard and narrow. It can lead to serious diseases such as stroke and heart attack. So it is important to reduce salt to improve high blood pressure. But it is difficult to continue reducing salt in daily life. Even if low salt is kept, sometimes high blood pressure is not improved as expected. A whale gave us the secret of how to solve this unconquerable problem? A whale is the biggest mammal on the earth. The characteristic is that they live very long. Some of them live for more than 200 years. So a researcher thought that whales must have maintained healthy blood vessels because they lived long. What is the difference between whales and human beings which are the same mammals? Is the difference related to dive under sea water? Based on such unique hypothesis, the researcher studied about blood vessels of the people who dived a lot into the sea. The people who the researcher paid attention to were Japanese female pearl divers who dived into the sea daily. When the researcher checked the condition of their blood vessel, surprising results were found out. 115 of Japanese female pearl divers whose average age was 65 years old were checked about their age of blood vessels (vascular age). The average of their vascular ages were 11 years younger than their actual ages. This proved that they could be controlling their blood pressure. Why are their vascular ages young? That their vascular ages are young is related to a hormone called ANP (Atrial Natriuretic Peptide) which is secreted by water pressure at the time of their diving. When we dive into water, the veins in our arms and legs are especially compressed because they are soft. That increases the amount of blood returning to the heart, making a part of the heart larger. At that time, the hormone called ANP is secreted by the muscles of the heart and is sent to all over the body. Especially the kidney is influenced by ANP and is promoted to excrete urine and excessive salt is discharged with the urine. As a result of that, blood pressure goes down and blood vessels are kept young. Actually ANP is used as medication for heart failure because it lowers blood pressure and reduces a burden on the heart. ANP of three Japanese female pearl divers was checked and the amount of ANP drastically increased right after diving. Also their blood pressures are within the normal range and their vascular ages were less than their actual ages. Age: 69 / 72 / 72 Before diving: 28.8 / 21 / 30 Right after diving: 44.5 / 73.1 / 129.6 Blood pressure: 134 / 126 / 123 (mmHg) Vascular age: early 50’s / early 50’s / late 60’s Divers dive to a depth of more than 5 meters (16.4 feet), but we can’t do that. So how deep do we need to dive or soak in the water to increase ANP? According to an experiment, it is possible to increase ANP if you soak into the pool above the pit of the stomach. 52 years old male whose blood pressure was about 140 mmHg tried to spend all day in a pool with his wife and daughters (9 and 11 years old). As a result, his ANP increased and blood pressure lowered after playing in the pool with his family as follows. ANP: Before 12.6 / After 31.6 Blood pressure: Before 143 mmHg / After 132 mmHg ANP and Cancer Cancer occurs everywhere in the body except the heart. One of the reasons that the heart doesn’t have cancer is ANP which is secreted from the heart. When ANP is administered to patients with cancer, the metastasis and recurrence are suppressed. How to increase ANP other than playing in the pool ANP is secreted by raising heart rate so it is effective to exercise as hard as breathing becomes a little heavy.

That is Coffee. Antioxidant effect of chlorogenic acid contained in coffee prevent the occurrence of cancer. If you drink more than 2 cups of coffee a day, the prevention of breast cancer, uterine cancer and colorectal cancer is expected. Foods effective for preventing-cancer Garlic, broccoli sprout, Enokitake mushroom (long thin white mushroom), Bunashimeji mushroom (brown beech mushroom) Enokitake mushroom and Bunashimeji mushroom contain beta-glucan which raises the power of immune system, so they are effective to prevent cancer. When you cook them, grilling or sautéing them are recommended not to lose the effective substances. People with plump body shape don’t get cancer as easily as people with slender body shape People with plump body shape has higher immunity. These vegetables contain Isothiocyanate which is a nutrition having anti-oxidant action.
Isothiocyante is a kind of pungent component and when it goes into the body, a lot of anti-oxidant substance started to be produced by the action of Isothiocyanate. The increased anti-oxidant substance detoxicates harmful active oxygen in the cells. As a result, occurrence of cancer is suppressed. According to a report of International Agency for Research on Cancer, “Consumption of cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, watercress and Brussels sprouts, was shown to be associated with decreased risks for cancer.” Watercress contains more Isothiocyanate than other Brassicaceae families. (Watercress: 81.3 µmol/100 g, Broccoli 38.6, Cabbage 27.5, Cauliflower 11.6) However, it is not clear yet how much watercress we should eat a day. 6 watercress farms’ people who were eating a lot of watercress every day had blood test. The amount of anti-oxidant substance in blood was measured. 4 out of 6 people had more than average of anti-oxidant power at their ages. Broccoli contains sulforaphane a lot which have actions of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Sulforaphane has anti-cancer effect. Broccoli sprouts has concentrated sulforaphane which is more than 7 times as much as broccoli. It is good to eat it raw. Other foods effective to prevent cancer are: (1) Garlic Eespecially black garlic which is aged garlic includes the substance suppressing the increase of cancer cells and the amount of the substance is 8 times as much as regular garlic. It is effective to eat a few pieces a day. (2) Adlay Adlay has anti-inflammatory effect and has the substance to suppress the occurrence of cancer cells. It is good to drink 0.5 to 1 quart a day as tea. (3) Soy products Isoflavone included in soy products has the effect to prevent the increase of cancer cells and is effective to prevent breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. Other method to prevent cancer is: Saoking in 38 to 39 degrees C (100.4 to 102.2 degrees F) water of bath tub for more than 15 minutes. Soaking in tepid bath relaxes the body, resulting that lymphocytes which prevent cancer cells work actively. Soaking in hot water makes the body tense so soaking in water which enables you to stay more than 15 minutes is suitable. Eating too much beef raises the risk of colon cancer. When eating beef, it is recommended to eat 2 handfuls of cabbage before eating beef and you can get only good substances of beef. Voice is made by the vibration of vocal cords by the air from lungs. Voce becomes hoarse due to overuse of vocal cords. Vocal cords become red and swollen due to too much vibration like hands become red and swollen when clapping them too much. This swelling makes vocal cords difficult to vibrate, leading to hoarse voice.
Vocal cord polyp is something like a blood blister on one side of vocal cords. Blood vessels around vocal cords burst making hematoma there. Vocal cord polyp is not related to laryngeal cancer but the symptoms are both hoarse voice. The cause of common hoarse voice is swelling of vocal cords so to prevent the swelling of vocal cords, moisturizing throat is important. Vocal cords don’t like dryness because they are mucus membrane. Keeping the room at proper humidity is important for vocal cords. In winter, about 1 litter (34 oz.) of water is lost a day by breathing. So it is better to drink a glass of water than to lick a candy because lost water is not made up by licking a candy. Common hoarse voice gets better within a few days. If you have hoarse voice for more than 2 weeks, that can be laryngeal cancer. Cancer in vocal cords mostly doesn’t cure itself and the cancer cells increase making vocal cords heavy, resulting in difficulty of vibration and hoarse voice. Progression of cancer causes symptoms such as pain, difficulty of swallowing but at the beginning, hoarse voice is the only symptom. If hoarse voice continues for a long time, it is better to consult a doctor. Cancer
82 years old male had rectal polyps removed 11 years ago. He has not had any cancer since then. He works in his plum field for about 1 hour in the morning including climbing up and down a ladder for pruning and he earns about 2000 steps. After that, he goes to a supermarket by car but parks as far as possible to walk more, earning 1500 steps. Then he goes out to take a walk for about an hour including fast walking, earning about 4500 steps. He walks about 8000 steps a day. To prevent cancer, 7000 steps walking a day including 15 minutes activities of moderate intensity is effective. It has turned out that more than 7000 steps including 15 minutes moderate intense activities activate the natural killer (NK) cells which kill cancerous cells, resulting in preventing the increase and enlargement of the cancer. Cancers which are considered as preventive in this research are: (1) Colon cancer (2) Lung cancer (3) Breast cancer (4) Endometrial cancer Retraction of the Nipple
In the case that the nipple originally pointing outward became retracted into the breast, there is a possibility that the nipple was pulled by a tumor in the breast. In addition to retraction, the nipple sometimes directs sideways or downward, pulled by a tumor. If such abnormal changes in the nipple happen within a few months, there is a possibility of breast cancer.
